Caring for Kenya has funded the two year preacher training program for twelve men at Nairobi Great Commission School. The preachers and church leaders of the Caring for Kenya congregations in eastern Kenya meet on a monthly basis. Together they plan and evangelize new areas and plant congregations. Nine congregations have been planted in the Kitui District of eastern Kenya. Our American mission teams visit the congregations, provide encouragement, assist with Bible studies, and provide children’s Bible class materials. Some support is provided to assist preachers as they worked toward becoming self-supported.
